If you have a 4k display and want to run RF8 at a lower resolution while still using all the available screen real estate, fullscreen is unavoidable. I don't know if that's what you experienced, but if you find yourself in that situation again, try pressing the Alt key to activate the menu.Īs opjose pointed out, Alt-Enter should always toggle between fullscreen and windowed mode, which should help you get unstuck. Among other things, it can cause issues such as the main menu bar remaining visible but unclickable. (So far, this is the only program or game I own that has issues in full screen mode.) Windows does not like when an MFC dialog-based style of application like RealFlight 8 tries to use exclusive fullscreen mode. Seems to run pretty well in windowed mode, but I'd still prefer full screen. Had to kill the program using the Task Manager.
